I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Family studies in 2010; graduating from an APA approved program at Roosevelt University in Chicago. I returned to Kansas City to complete specialized post-graduate training in treating anxiety disorders at the Kansas City Center for Anxiety Treatment. I continued on as a Staff Therapist and School Outreach Coordinator at KCCAT for another 9 years before developing my own private practice. I maintain involvement in professional organizations like the ADAA and regularly attend and have presented at conferences and workshops on both local and national levels.

In my private practice I continue to provide evidence-based treatment of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders. My treatment approach is active and collaborative with the primary goal of helping individuals to develop independence and confidence in managing their symptoms. Through CBT (and associated therapies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitments Therapy), I tailor and teach active strategies and steps for reducing anxiety symptoms and avoidant behaviors.

My expertise includes treating anxiety and co-morbid conditions including depressive and behavioral disorders. Disorders I am skilled in treating include: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety and related conditions including Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, Selective Mutism and Body Focused Repetitive Disorders (BFRB) Trichotillomania, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and ADHD.
